What began as a small family business in northern Michigan has evolved into a trusted name in furniture, upholstery, and FF&E procurement — serving clients nationwide with transparency and accountability at every step.

  1. The Beginning: Neuco Seating Is Born

    Bryan and Gayle Neu launch Neuco Seating from their home garage in northern Michigan. With a focus on craftsmanship and service, the couple quickly earns a reputation for reliable upholstery and custom furniture for local restaurants, offices, and hospitality spaces.

  2. Growth Through Craftsmanship

    As word spreads, Neuco expands its operations, serving clients across Michigan. The company becomes known for its attention to detail and commitment to doing things right — one project, one booth, one chair at a time.

  3. A New Chapter of Leadership

    After more than 30 years in business, Bryan and Gayle retire and entrust their company to Diane Arnold, a former prosecutor and mother of three who relocates to Traverse City. Diane officially rebrands the company as Neuco Furniture & Upholstery, preserving its legacy while expanding its reach.

  4. Source Bay Procurement Partners Is Founded

    To meet the needs of large-scale hospitality and commercial clients, Diane launches Source Bay, a sister company focused on FF&E procurement — from specifications and purchasing to warehousing, delivery, and installation.

  5. United by Transparency & Accountability

    Neuco Furniture & Upholstery and Source Bay now work hand-in-hand, combining local craftsmanship with national procurement expertise. Together, they’re building beautiful, functional spaces grounded in honesty, collaboration, and care.
